Babby Talk #24
Gender predictions, not ugly high chairs, and cute jewelry. But wait there's more!
I don't love the spectacle of the Olympic Games, but I do love watching amazing athletes who are the best in the world doing what they love and getting the recognition they deserve. Now when I see Simone Biles on the TV I have a knee jerk tearing-up reaction. How cool is it that she's the greatest gymnast of all time, competing right now for us to marvel at? At age 27? Which is a spring chicken to me but considered rather old for a competitive gymnast (which is stupid). She's unbelievable to watch and so exciting. And you know what else? She seems cool as fuck. I love you Simone. The little gymnast in me is in awe of everything you do. Happy Simone Biles day everybody! May all of our professional athlete role models be as badass as you. -Grace
7 things at least somewhat related to life with kids
Read: Is there any truth to all those stupid myths about predicting the gender of an unborn child without actual tests? Mmm like the tiniest bit. For some of them. Sort of.
Wear: Your arm needs a bangle. Your arm needs this bangle, not this bangle, however delightful she may be.

Unilove Grow With Me High Chair Nest: Alert! A non-ugly, not ludicrously expensive adjustable high chair option for your consideration.
Make: Use a microplane to shave a peeled frozen orange. Your life and your kids' lives will never be the same.
Watch: Shelley Duvall's 80s era TV show Faerie Tale Theatre. Just the right amount of freakiness for today's kids to continue to enjoy. It's hard to think of a human that embodied tenderness and beauty more than Shelley did.

Download: The Babyname app is like Tinder for expecting parents who haven’t agreed to disagree over what to call their bundle of joy (maybe Joy?). If it’s starting to take a toll on your otherwise loving relationship, swipe right to find common ground.

A few more for the road:
Gearing up for the summer olympics! Yeah baby!
Stay cool out there.
